CONWAY — Zac Mercauto of Fryeburg, Maine, who had been hoping to set a ski run record at Crotched Mountain in southwestern New Hampshire, may have fallen short of his goal but he was credited with "making a damn good effort" by his ski partner, who ended up taking the honor of most runs in a single day at the Hillsborough County ski area.
The two-man team was made up of Mercauto, 21, and his friend and Northern Vermont University classmate Sean Bragdon, 20, of Colchester, Vt.
