Leslie H. Tilton, 58, of Conway, died July 30, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway following a sudden illness. Born in Franklin, the son of Leslie J. and Maregueritte (Truchon) Tilton, he grew up in Franklin and lived in Belmont for five years and in Oklahoma and Tamwoth before moving to Conway in 1999.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Mount Washington Valley Old Car Club. His current work in progress was his 1954 American LaFrance Fire Truck. He lived for his “Golden Oldies” music and was the D.J. for area car shows and cruise nights.
