The Kennett High School drumline and cheerleaders were well represented at this year's 54th Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl held Saturday, Aug. 4, at Dartmouth College. This year, five students from the drumline joined the All-Star Marching Band for the half-time show. They were Dustin O'Reilly, Tom Harmon, Tori Belkin, Ryan Hawkins and Matt Sheaff.Joining the All-Star Cheerleaders was Kennett High School's Sonia Belkin. The cheerleaders faced the challenge of coming together only hours before the game for their first practice! They looked like they had been working together for months. Congratulations to all six Kennett High School students for a job well done and for giving of their time for such a wonderful cause. Money raised by these students benefits the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Their motto is "We play so others may walk."
