CONWAY — The Mount Washington Valley Community Band wrapped up its 45th summer concert series on Tuesday, Aug. 20, with a concert of Big Band and Dixieland tunes, opening as always with “The Star Spangled Banner” and ending with “The Chaser,” medley. Themes for the concerts included patriotic medleys (“The American Dream”), Broadway musicals and “At the Movies.”

The concert was conducted by band director Dr. Therese Davison with Killian MacPherson as guest conductor for “American Patrol” by J.P. Sousa.
