MADISON — Cynthia’s Challenge, a 24-hour Ski-A-Thon that took place March 15-16 reached its goal of raising almost $65,000 and will be purchasing a handicap-accessible van for a local Effingham family.

Nearly 300 skiers and snowboarders registered and participated in the 24-hour event held at King Pine Ski Area.
