Eric Perkins, a 1994 graduate of Kingswood Regional High School, recently received his Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Perkins, son of Sandra L. Gobillot of Wakefield and James E. Perkins of Madison, received Bachelor of Science degrees in 1998 from WorcesterPolytechnic Institute in Biotechnology and Humanities. He began his Ph.D. dissertation research at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill in 1999 under the mentorship of Dr. Dale Ramsden. Eric will be continuing his research in cancer as a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University in September.
