Social media has permeated all aspects of our lives. Even those who don’t have an online presence are subject to the benefits and pitfalls of social media, most are never more than one degree separated from someone close who has at least a casual relationship with the ever-present blue "f." Other media-based social sites have become increasingly popular. YouTube, Instagram and various blog sites all highlight ways to illustrate whatever points of one’s life they wish for others to view.

It doesn’t take much effort to connect the dots between social media and cars. What’s cooler than a selfie behind the wheel of a genuine Lamborghini, or standing nonchalantly in front of an actual Shelby Cobra? Who can resist channeling their inner "Magnum, P.I." whenever they see a red Ferrari 308 GTS or getting all Bandit-like around an iconic black and gold Trans Am, complete with a Firebird in full span emblazoned across the hood?
