When I was a minibike-riding gearhead in the 1970s, American muscle cars captured my fancy. The brand didn’t matter to me; it was what was under the hood that counted.

Thanks to my time hanging out with my friends at my next-door neighbor’s, getting my hands dirty on Cobras and Boss Mustangs with an occasional groovy custom van thrown in, Ford took the top spot, followed by my family's penchant for GM products.
