CONWAY — Nestled in the heart of North Conway Village at the historic Eastern Slope Inn, M&D Playhouse is celebrating its 25th anniversary — a milestone that marks not only the longevity of a local cultural gem, but a renewed commitment to community, growth, and the transformative power of live theatre.
Founded in 2000 by Ken Martin and Mark DeLancey, M&D Playhouse began as a grassroots venture with no permanent home. Now, 25 years later and firmly rooted at the Eastern Slope Inn since 2019, the non-profit theatre company continues to thrive, producing nine shows each year and bringing dynamic, year-round programming to the Mount Washington Valley.
