FREEDOM — After investing $1 million in upgrades to its swimming pools and facilities last year, resort officials note that Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort in Freedom is ready to greet guests for summer 2024. These new improvements add to the resort’s standing as New Hampshire’s ultimate camping resort.
“After two years of hard work by our team, we opened the new pools in July 2023, said Dianne Battles, general manager of Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort. Summer 2024 will be the first full summer operational season with the new facilities in play. Our goal is to ensure that our campground remains a cherished place of rest and relaxation, reinforce our legacy, and usher in the next 20 years of late-night talks, warm campfires, bicycle races, family picnics and fond memories. We understand that our continued success is directly related to the happiness of our campers, the state of our facilities, and the quality of our amenities.”
