OVP Management, the property management company for Settlers' Green Outlet Village Plus, recently hosted its annual tenant award celebration at the North Conway Grand Hotel.Awards were presented for excellence in sales, customer service and merchandising, with five retail managers selected as "Managers of the Year" for their outstanding contributions to the center.Excellence awards are given to managers who demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in their retail careers. Participation in mall-wide events and promotions, attendance at regular tenant meetings and monthly sales increases are all criteria used to determine the winners."These managers are key to the success of Settlers' Green OVP," said General Manager Dot Seybold. "Not only are they great managers of their individual stores, they are also supporters of the center by their active participation in promotions, sales programs and special events."2002 Manager of the Year awards were presented to: Bruce Locke of Factory Brand Shoes, Pam Carpenter of the Harry and David Outlet, Trish Doane of Claire's Accessories, Kathy Clayton of The Rugged Bear and Julie Towne of Sringmaid-Wamustta Outlet. Customer Service Excellence Awards were presented to Vitamin World, Wilson's Leather, Kaybee Toy Outlet, Pfaltzgraff and Dress Barn.Merchandising Excellence Awards were presented to the Foreside Company Store, Maidenform, Pacific Sunwear, Banana Republic and Nike.Factory Brand Shoes and Dancer's Cafe were awarded Excellence in Sales Awards for having the highest percentage increase and the highest sales per square foot.Other sales awards were presented to The Gap Outlet, Rue 21, Springmaid Wamsutta, Claire's Accessories and Sunglass Hut. The Gap was voted as the retail store at Settlers' Green with the "Best Bargains."Settlers' Green Outlet Village Plus has over 50 national and regional outlet stores. Feb. 8 marked the 15th anniversary of the center. OVP Management Inc., has been the developer and property management company for the center since 1994. The company also manages the Staples center located in North Conway.
