The group of plungers stand together after braving the cold water at the eighth Green Mountain Conservation Group Annual Polar Plunge for Healthy Water at the Effingham facility on April 4. Sixteen participants took the dip in the Ossipee River, raising around $11,000 for the GMCG's watershed protection programs.
