TAMWORTH — There is great joy in discovering a piece of writing that, despite being more than 60 years old, feels fresh and contemporary. This is the case for “My Three Angels,” the third production in The Barnstormers Theatre's 87th season.

“My Three Angels,” which opened Thursday, July 27, with performances through Aug. 5, was written by the married writing team of Sam and Bella Spewack, best-known for the musical “Kiss Me, Kate” and the film “My Favorite Wife.”
