CONWAY — “9 to 5,” the hilarious musical comedy that opened at M&D Playhouse last Thursday at the Eastern Slope Inn in North Conway, offers an evening of lively theater.

Based on the 1980 film starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton, “9 to 5” tells the story of three secretaries (played by Corinne Stanley, Olivia Lee and Kristen Bushway) who get revenge on their "sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot" boss (Tim Ostendorf).
