BROWNFIELD, Maine — Bright Cloud Mountain, a genre-blurring quartet blending West African musical traditions with jazz-influenced improvisation, will celebrate the release of its debut album Remaking the World with a special concert at Stone Mountain Arts Center on Friday, March 6, at 8 p.m.
Featuring Dave Kobrenski on flute and ngoni, Jed Wilson on piano, Mike Sakash on saxophone and Tim Gilmore on drums, the ensemble’s music is marked by lyricism, rhythmic depth, and an infectious sense of joy.
