CONWAY — The Conway Planning Board on Jan. 22 granted an extension until April 9 for the review of a controversial housing proposal on Ledgewood Road, allowing developers additional time to address outstanding concerns tied to traffic, environmental impacts, and project scale.

Josh McAllister of HEB Engineers requested the extension on behalf of developers REC Properties, LLC of Bristol, R.I., and property owner Steve Johnson. The proposal includes a site plan and unit subdivision review for three land condominium units and the construction of 52 residential units on Ledgewood Road in North Conway.
