JACKSON — It's been a great run, but in sad news for local music fans, the MacKenzie, Lewis and White Musical Scholarship Concert is coming to an end after 31 years come Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Shannon Door Pub.

Why is it the last year for what the ever-quotable Rod MacKenzie once called, "The best night of music in the valley?"
