BARTLETT — Bartlett writer Barry S. Jandebeur will discuss his fourth novel, "Survive or Die Trying," at the Bartlett Public Library on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.

"Survive or Die Trying" is an intimate, heartfelt view into Charles Master’s journey of discovery that challenges the complicated intricacies of trust, friendship and loyalty.

This is Jandebeur's first novel to venture into a discussion of wartime experiences and the lingering effects.

Jandebeur will facilitate the annual veterans recognition meeting of the Friends of The Bartlett Public Library on Nov. 12.

He will discuss the book, its story and the process of bringing it to his readers, and will answer any questions.

Jandebeur writes from Cobb Farm Cabin in Bartlett and Kingfield Cottage in Ogunquit, Maine.
