CONWAY — After two straight road wins to open the season, the Kennett High girls’ basketball team got to play its home-opener at the Nest on Friday night. The Eagles cruised to a comfortable 59-33 victory over Coe-Brown Northwood Academy. Senior, tri-captain Isabel Wrobleski had a big night for the hometown flock, scoring 26 points and pulling down a career-high 14 rebounds in the win.

“Izzy had a great night,” said Larry Meader, Eagles’ head coach. “She didn’t have one rebound at Spaulding (on Wednesday, a 64-38 victory), and the one thing she said afterward was I’m disappointed about my rebounding, I need to do a better job. She was a force on both ends of the court and I think that helped get her offense going, too.”
