FRYEBURG — Revenge can be sweet, and the Fryeburg Academy football team enjoyed the sweetness of victory on Friday night and got a measure of revenge, too, beating No. 3 Lawrence in the Class B North semifinals 34-13 in Atwood Stadium.

Lawrence (5-5) came to Fryeburg on Oct. 10 and beat the No. 2-seeded Raiders (6-3) 47-35. In their win, the Bulldogs used a ground and pound running attack, which led to seven rushing touchdowns, while they were also able to win the turnover battle that night.
