CONWAY — In a fitting final between two longtime Carroll County rivals, it was Kingswood that lifted the trophy as the winners of the 11th Annual Peter Hall Christmas Tournament Tournament on Saturday as the Knights spoiled Kennett High’s bid for a three-peat with a 3-0 victory.
The victory was the second straight shutout for the boys from Wolfeboro over the Eagles, who last March as the No. 5 seeds came to Ham Arena and topped No. 4 Kennett 1-0 in the Division III quarterfinals. Sophomore goalie Jake Debuc was stellar between the pipes then again on Saturday.
