CONWAY — After dropping its first two matches to open the season, the Kennett High field hockey team has found its groove. The Eagles went a perfect 3-0 last week with three consecutive shutouts.
Coach Amanda Werner’s troops opened the week with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Derryfield in Manchester on Sept. 9; followed that up with a 2-0 win on the road against Milford on Thursday; and closed out the week by blanking ConVal 4-0 at Centola Field before good-sized, vocal home crowd.
