CONWAY — While the Division II basketball playoffs don’t officially tip off until next week, the postseason fate of the Kennett High boys’ basketball team will be determined on Friday night. The Eagles have a simple pathway to the playoffs: beat ConVal, and they’re in. A loss, and the birds of prey may need a little help to punch their ticket to the dance.
With 20 teams in the division, the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association has a 70 percent participation rate for postseason play. That means 14 teams will qualify for the tournament in March.
