CONWAY — After having nine players receive All-State accolades earlier in the week, the Kennett High field hockey team on Sunday had four girls make the prestigious Twin State squad that will play Vermont next June.
Georgia Coleman, Ava Gaudette, Allie Hussey and Madison Walcott were among 50 of the state's top senior field hockey players from Divisions I, II and III to take the field at Manchester West High School in Manchester on Sunday trying out for the Granite State team. The Eagles came oh-so-close to getting a fifth player on the team. Senior defender Nora Goodman just missed being selected.
