CONWAY — With the largest roster in more than a decade there’s an excitement about the Kennett High football team this fall. There are 56 boys out for the team, including 18 freshmen.

“Our numbers are great,” said Vaughn Beckwith, Eagles’ head coach. “I think we had 45 boys from the first year and 46 last year. Having 18 freshmen is exciting. It threw us for a bit of a loop. We had to order extra equipment, but that’s a nice problem to have.”
