CONWAY — The last hockey game of the 10th annual Peter Hall Christmas Tournament at Ham Arena might be the best one in the tournament’s history. Kennett High successfully repeated as champions, but the Eagles sure had to earn it by coming from behind to top longtime rival Berlin-Gorham 3-2 in double-overtime in front of the largest crowd for a high school game at the Ham Arena in several years.

The game was an instant classic and featured everything a fan of this great sport could want. There was passion, end-to-end action, incredible fan support for both programs and a lot of nail-biting in the stands. And, the game ended with three-on-three play and was just over two minutes away from going to a shootout.
