CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ and girls’ cross-country running teams got their 2019 season off on a solid note with a number of impressive performance at the annual Paul Letarte Invitational at Great Glen Trails in Pinkham Notch on Saturday. Run under ideal conditions, 13 schools from across the Granite State, including a number of Division I schools, the KHS girls were third in the varsity race, while the boys from Conway took fifth.
“The day went really well,” said Bernie Livingston, Eagles’ head coach. “It all started with the weather, which was absolutely perfect — temperatures were in the 50s with a few clouds — it was perfect for running, and the course at Great Glen was in terrific shape.”
