CONWAY — Coach Michael Lane believes the Kennett High ice hockey team might have turned the corner on its season, and it came during a loss on the road on Saturday. The Eagles fell 4-1 to defending state champion John Stark-Hopkinton, but it was in the third period that Lane saw a spark in his club, something that really hadn’t been there thus far this winter.
Kennett played a solid third period and then brought that momentum home on Monday afternoon when the Eagles cruised to a 6-1 victory over ConVal-Conant at the Ham Ice Arena on West Main Street.
