CONWAY — Only two teams in Division II girls basketball were still practicing on Wednesday — Kennett High was one of them after turning in a sensational performance the night before when the No. 3 seeded Eagles beat No. 2 Lebanon 49-42 in the state semifinals at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

“It was awesome,” said Larry Meader, Eagles’ head coach. “I enjoyed every minute of it.”
