CONWAY — Playing before its largest crowd to date, the Kennett High field hockey team made sure it was a Homecoming to remember on Saturday. The Eagles took care of visiting Milford with a dominating first-half performance and then cruised to an 8-1 victory at Centola Field. The win led to a celebration as the hometown flock surprised Coach Cassandra Daley with a cake commemorating her 50th career victory at KHS.

In five years on the sidelines at Kennett, Daley’s troops have gone an impressive 50-21-4 and made the playoffs every year, including three Final Four performances.
