CONWAY — A summer of top-notch baseball wrapped up last week for the Ralph W. Shirley Post 46 American Legion Senior District team. After more than a three-decade absence, Conway once again fielded a team, and while the team fell short of postseason play, the foundation is in place for years to come.
“I hope it only makes the Kennett High baseball program stronger by playing longer,” Coach Andy Pepin said by phone on Monday.
