PLYMOUTH — The MWV All-Stars 10U team won the Cal Ripken District 3 Championship on Sunday by coming from behind to defeat hosts Plymouth twice in the double-elimination tournament held at D&M Park in Plymouth.
The MWV 12U All-Stars fell one win shy of punching their ticket to the state tournament, too, when the local nine fell 3-1 to Great North Woods in the title game on Sunday morning at Chase Field in Plymouth.
