PINKHAM NOTCH — The toughest hillclimb in the world returns this summer and the pent-up anticipation is sky-high. The legendary Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb will celebrate 51 years on Aug. 17.

Registration for this iconic one-way, all-uphill race opened March 1 and is already outpacing last year’s registrations (sign up at bikereg.com/mwarbh). The 50th race was canceled last year due to inclement weather.
