There were hearty folks on the links at two local courses last weekend. Linderhof Country Club, the nine-hole gem in Glen, pulled its flags on Sunday morning (Nov. 9), while they were still teeing it high and letting it fly at Indian Mound Golf Club in Center Ossipee on Monday with temperatures in the 30s. The Mound will call it a season after play this Saturday.
“Jonathan (Rivers, owner and club pro at Indian Mound) and his entire team would like to thank all the members and players for making this season one of our most successful,” Indian Mound posted on its Facebook page on Thursday. “The positive feedback from all of you this season has been incredible. We genuinely appreciate all the comments about how great the course looked and played, how consistent our Tavern food was, and how you all appreciated how hard the staff worked to give you the best experience possible. We will give you our all this winter in The Tavern, and moving forward into the 2026 golf season.”
