PINKHAM NOTCH — The Glen Ellis Falls Scenic Area has reopened after a reconstruction and rehabilitation project, White Mountain National Forest officials announced last week.
Located on Route 16 in Pinkham Notch, just south of the Appalachian Mountain Club's Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, this popular historic site offers a short hike to a dramatic 66-foot waterfall, picnicking opportunities, and is the starting point for the Glen Boulder and Wildcat hiking trails.
