Rain, rain, go away. Sunday will be a beautiful day with temps in the high 40s. A good amount of the snow on Mount Washington will have melted. If you feel like hiking up to Tuckerman Ravine on the 2.40-mile lower Tuckerman Ravine Trail, it should be packed out but slushy.

Last week, I mentioned a good pair of traction devices for these conditions, the Stabil Hike Macro, which can be downgraded to the Stabil Hiker XP by taking the longer spikes off so they don’t get worn down. These are available at Ragged Mountain Equipment in Glen.
