An amazing view in Eaton

There is a half-mile trail to a beautiful view in Eaton that I have not known about until recently. Across Route 153 from the Little White Church is the start of a half-mile grassy road called the Rock Edge Trail up to a promontory ledge with an amazing view out over Eaton and to the north, including part of Crystal Lake and Mount Washington in the distance. There is a picnic table up there at the viewpoint.

The land is owned by Johnny Edge. His family has owned a country house in Eaton since 1946 called Rockhouse Mountain Farm. It is located on Rockhouse Mountain Road, located straight at the four corners just north of the church.
