2-3-18 Parsons-Welsh Mountain

Early Wednesday morning, I drove west from Tamworth on Route 25 toward the setting blue moon — an appropriate beginning to a fun and interesting morning. I was headed over to climb the modest yet spectacular dual peaks of Welch/Dickey near Waterville Valley, then visit the new exhibit at the Museum of the White Mountains in Plymouth.

Since the museum opened in February of 2013, I have made a point of writing a column about each new exhibit combined with a hike up nearby Welch/Dickey or Rattlesnake Mountain in Rumney.
