A top-10 finisher with southern Carroll County roots and an emergency room nurse from Conway scratching off a bucket list item were among the bicyclists slogging through the finish-line fog in last Saturday’s 47th annual Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb.

Nathan Kenison-Marvin, 31, grew up in Center Tuftonboro. He led for the first mile before being passed by winner Erik Levinsohn of Boston (53:42) and others finishing seventh at 1:00:48. It was his second top 10 finish in two years (fifth in 2018). He was the fastest New Hampshire finisher and winner of the $750 prime, the prize for the rider leading the race after a mile and finishing in under 90 minutes.
