Fryeburg Fair has been running throughout the week and one of the highlights of fair season for many people is the food. Whether it’s doughnuts or fried dough, pizza or bloomin’ onions, candied apples or apple crisp, there’s often something people just can’t wait to eat. This year saw some changes in the food lineup — Tom’s Donuts, an incredibly popular booth for decades, is gone, and joining the lineup for the first time this year was an alley of food trucks, which are shaking up the fair food scene.
