To the editor:

President Donald Trump said “nothing bad can happen” if, by his executive order, he cuts the number and increases the frequency of vaccine shots. Then why are measles cases (and associated deaths!) higher now than decades ago? Why can our lettuce and jalapeños give us explosive diarrhea or worse, and why do flesh-eating worms go unchecked because the administration cut the program that watches for this?
