To the editor:

As I was watching the impeachment hearing, I was reminded of an old Noel Coward story. He was walking through Hyde Park in London with his young nephew when the lad spotted two dogs doing things he had never witnessed before. He asked his uncle what they were doing, and Mr. Coward quickly answered that "the first dog had gone blind and the second dog was guiding the first dog to the exit to the park."
