To the editor:

Bartlett School Board needs to start paying attention to how it spends your money. Bartlett’s cost per pupil to Kennett High School is at least $30,000 per year. Student cost is $167 per day. With 72 Bartlett students, that equals $12,000 to pick up Conway’s trash. (The Department of Education backs out transportation, special education and facilities for a lower cost per pupil, which is disingenuous.)
