To the editor:

I am writing to express my deep concern about the challenges many students in our community are facing, particularly the issues of peer pressure, drug use, alcohol abuse and bullying. These problems are affecting the lives of our young people in very serious ways, and I believe they deserve greater attention and action from both the school system and the community as a whole.
