I was glad to see the Senate confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. She has one of the most impressive resumes of any Supreme Court Justice.
Amy Conet Barrett had almost no experience practicing law; she never tried a case to verdict or argued an appeal in any court. She could not even recall details of any pro bono work. She has spent almost the entirety of her professional life as a law professor at Notre Dame. She was advanced by the Federalist Society at considerable expense to represent what was once considered a fringe approach to Constitutional law: Originalism. Of course, Ketanji Jackson Brown patiently endured the shameless distortions and self-promotion of Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley and Marsha Blackburn. Republican Senator, Ben Sasse, labelled their antics "jackassery".
At least Justice Brown has actual jurist experience…something that neither Kavenaugh or Barrett had. Maybe only judges who have actually sat on a trial bench should get the job? And since there are 13 Circuit Courts now, increase the court to 13 judges!
I'm not sure which is worse, your ignorance of the type of law or cases the Supreme Court presides over, your ignorance of the last two appointee's experience, or your overt partisanship by suggesting "court-packing"?
