To the editor:

At 8 p.m. today, MWV citizens will gather with lanterns and flashlights at the four corners in Conway Village for “Lights for Liberty.” This is a grassroots, world-wide event designed to bring attention to the plight of children and infants separated from their parents and guardians at the border, and housed in deplorable conditions at detention facilities throughout the country, but especially at the southern border.
