The U.S. immigration debate is not truly about security; it revolves around scapegoating, social conditioning and the strategic use of fear to rationalize inhumane treatment. Despite widespread public support for compassionate immigration reform, the MAGA movement continues to promote a narrative that dehumanizes migrants and encourages policies that verge on crimes against humanity.
