To the editor:

It is time for the Biden administration to step up to the plate and work with the Ukrainian president to bring the war to an end. Russia already controls the energy pipelines and seaports. Grain cannot be transported to any degree without immediate and safe access to the Black Sea. Putin understands this very well. Ukrainians are dying by the thousands with no end in sight. The U.S. is sending more troops into Poland with no clear purpose. President Joe Biden recently approved billions more for military aid, which is on top of $400 billion already provided,
