To the editor:

The social networks’ and the mainstream news media response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Speech was reported in the same behavior as it has been for the past two years — all negative without any consideration of Trump’s attempt to mend the fences. At least 90 percent of social networks and articles written disparaged everything Trump had to say. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi acted like a perpetual adolescent and basically ignored the proceeding.
