To the editor:

I am troubled by recent proposals to station ICE agents at polling places during the midterm elections in November. All citizens have a right to vote enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. The presence of armed masked men near polling stations will intimidate voters. Many people who are legally entitled to vote will be discouraged from voting by the potential for violence from these agents who killed two American citizens during the past month.
